From Hay on Wye, Quoits are ancient megalithic portal tombs dating back to the early Neolithic period between 4000 and 3000 BC. Their massive capstones often weigh several tons, showcasing the remarkable cooperative engineering of prehistoric communities. These enigmatic stone structures served primarily as communal burial sites and ritual centers across the British Isles.
