Langdale pikes sketch | One-off original watercolour sketch.

The Langdale Pikes are a group of peaks in the Lake District National Park, primarily composed of volcanic rock formed over 400 million years ago. The area is famous for its Neolithic stone axe factory, where ancient people crafted axes that were traded throughout prehistoric Britain. The Pikes are a popular destination for hikers and climbers, famously featured in the works of many romantic poets, including William Wordsworth.
