Pen-y-ghent sketch | Limited edition fine art print from an original drawing.

Pen-y-ghent is one of the famous 'Yorkshire Three Peaks,' alongside Ingleborough and Whernside, frequently tackled by hikers attempting the strenuous challenge walk.
The name itself derives from Brythonic (Old Welsh), and is commonly translated as 'Head of the Wold' or 'Hill of the Boundary.'
Its slopes are home to significant geological features, including Hull Pot, which is one of the largest natural holes in England.
This sketch tries to capture that rugged energy, translating the movement of the wind across the moor and the sheer presence of the Dales into line and shadow.
