Southwold seagull sketch | Limited edition fine art print from an original drawing.

Gulls are highly adaptable birds capable of drinking both fresh and salt water due to specialized supraorbital glands that flush excess salt from their bodies. These intelligent birds have been documented using bread crumbs as bait to lure fish within striking distance. They also exhibit complex social behaviors, often maintaining lifelong bonds with their chosen partners and returning to the same nesting grounds annually. This chap was just taking a rest.
