Sean Briggs sketch | One-off original watercolour sketch.

The mountains around Grasmere are perfect subjects for sketching. The phenomenon known as the 'golden hour' provides the warm, low-angle light that illuminates landscapes just before sunset or after sunrise. Slopes angled toward the sun often support significantly different vegetation than their shaded counterparts, creating unique microclimates.

The original artwork is Windsor & Newton watercolour paints with chinagraph details on Saunders Mill NOT 300 gsm watercolour paper. Signed with certificate of originality (14cm x 19cm)

The graphite pencils I use are Faber-Castel, the oil pastels are Sennelier and the china-graph is Caran d’Ache. The inks are pigment based archive quality (100years+).
