Top Withens is a ruined farmhouse located near Haworth in West Yorkshire, England. It is widely recognized for its strong association with Emily Brontë's classic novel Wuthering Heights. The isolated site serves as a popular destination for those exploring the rugged landscapes of Brontë Country.
I stood on the desolate moor as the wind whipped around these ancient stones, feeling the weight of the stories that have echoed here for centuries. Bringing this ruin to paper was my way of capturing the raw, enduring spirit of the landscape that inspired such haunting beauty.
