Sean Briggs sketch | Limited edition fine art print from an original drawing.

A copse is a small group of trees, often grown to be cut down periodically for timber. Historically, copses were managed through coppicing, where trees are cut back to ground level to stimulate new growth. They provide crucial habitats for woodland wildlife and create distinctive silhouettes in the landscape.
There is a deep, quiet solace in seeing these ancient sentinels standing firm against the horizon, shielding the land beneath them.
